Corragan grew up very familiar with the industry but began her career in 2009 when she became an apprentice to her grandfather and studio owner, Jim Januzik, at A.D.I. Tattoo (locations in Sanford and Southern Pines). She worked and learned in the family business alongside her aunt, grandmother, and mother. In 2012, she took a break in order to pursue an Associate of Fine Arts from Sandhills Community College. She worked through school while gaining experience in office settings building strong client relations. In February of 2018, she was eager to finally return to tattooing and received the opportunity through Southern Customs Tattoo Company in Fayetteville. While at Southern Customs, she was able to pass her knowledge on to her very first apprentice, Kara Stone. In moving to Hot Rod Tattoos, Corragan is excited to be tattooing close to her hometown of Sanford and working closely with wonderfully talented artists.
Corragan is married to Joseph Goosey, her best friend, and a writer. They support one another’s art and often create in the same room together. They live in Southern Pines with their three cats, Chibi, Mia, and Poots. A passionate explorer of various mediums of art, Corragan tries all forms of expression. The connection Corragan creates with her clients goes beyond the time you sit in her chair. She tries the convey the importance of every individual through her custom pieces and an attentive ear. She looks forward to becoming your friend!
